Gingerbread-Apple Streusel Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- 1box Betty Crocker™ gingerbread cake and cookie mix
- 1 1/4cups lukewarm water
- 1egg
- 2apples, peeled, diced
- 2tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
- 1teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Dash salt
Steps
1 Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly spray 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
2 In large bowl, stir together gingerbread mix, water, egg and diced apples. Spoon into pan.
3 In small bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over gingerbread batter.
4 Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold.
